The game offers two modes, which include a one-player mode for solo adventure and a two-player mode for direct competition. The experience begins at the top of the steep waterfall. Once the board drops into the stream, the world opens into a tropical landscape filled with coconut trees, soft grass, and scattered stones. The player can slide safely across the patches of grass because the water pushes gently in these areas. However, stones must never be touched because a single collision ends the ride immediately. The river occasionally carries large drifting logs. These pieces of wood move unpredictably, and the player must jump or steer away quickly to avoid being thrown off the board. The water flow becomes stronger in certain sections, and the player must prepare for sudden shifts in direction.

Narrow rock gaps appear throughout the course. These passages force the player to tilt the board with precision and squeeze through without touching the sides. This part of the adventure tests careful positioning and accurate spacing because the gaps appear without warning and the water pushes relentlessly. Starfish serve as the main collectible. Common starfish float along easy paths, while rare starfish appear in more difficult spots near rocks or close to tight corners. Rare starfish grant a higher starfish count, and collecting them speeds up progress toward unlocking new boards. Each board comes with brighter colors and better material, giving the player a smoother and more satisfying summer ride.

The more the player advances, the more intense the water becomes. Strong currents, narrow paths, and shifting obstacles turn each run into a test of attention and quick decision-making. Every descent feels unique and encourages players to return to collect more starfish and try new boards.
